Some business wisdom from 1845
In the year 1845, the English social reformer John Ruskin wrote something that is still valid today, over 150 years later:
«It's unwise to pay too much but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better!».
Our commitment to the highest possible quality encouraged us, as early as 1997, to seek certification in accordance with ISO 9001. Since our successful certification by SGS International Certification Services AG on 29 June 1999, we have been entitled to proudly cite the ISO 9001:1996 standard (now ISO 9001:2015).
The continuous further development of this quality system provides you, as a user of BKS products and services, with the greatest possible security.
The involvement of BKS with «Swiss Label», an organisation that promotes Swiss products and services, reflects our strong commitment to the Swiss workplace, with all of the associated consequences.
We would like to remind you here that all business is carried out on the basis of the attached General Terms and Conditions of Business of BKS, which cannot be explicitly excluded.
